βDr. Gomez and Dr. Carlos are incredible. They make the house feel like home and family, and Dr. Gomez genuinely cares, following up with clients even after discharge.β
βThey didn't make the facility feel cold or clinical. They made it feel like home. You could tell they genuinely cared about the people there.β
Before you arrive
It starts with a phone call and a free verification of benefits, followed by a brief medical assessment so our physicians understand your history. We'll tell you what to bring, arrange travel if you're coming from out of the area, and answer every question. There's nothing you need to have "figured out" first.
What happens on your first day
When you arrive, you're welcomed into a home, not a hospital ward. You'll meet the team, settle into a comfortable space, and have a thorough medical assessment with a physician (often the same day) to build your care plan. If you need to begin detox right away, medications to ease withdrawal start under 24/7 supervision. Expect a calm, unhurried welcome and a home-cooked meal, not a clipboard and a waiting room.

A calm, human welcome
From the first hour, the experience is built to lower your anxiety, not add to it: a real bedroom, a warm meal, and a team that greets you by name.
- Physician assessment, often same day
- A calm, unhurried welcome
- A comfortable, home-like space
What detox is like
Medical detox typically lasts 5β10 days, depending on the substance and your health. You'll be monitored around the clock, with the physician-owners seeing you in person every day to adjust medications and manage symptoms. The goal is to make withdrawal as safe and comfortable as possible so you can rest and stabilize. More about medical detox β
What a day in treatment looks like
Once you're stable, days find a gentle rhythm: a morning medical check-in, home-cooked meals, individual and group therapy, plus music, yoga, mindfulness, and time outdoors in the garden and courtyard. It's structured enough to support recovery and human enough to feel like life, not an institution. More about residential treatment β
Planning for life after treatment
From early on, your team builds a continuing-care plan: trusted referrals for IOP or sober living, MAT to protect your progress, and personal follow-up from our physicians after you leave. You won't be discharged into a void. More about continuing care β
